I facilitate communication between businesses and their customers. I do this primarily through creating, implementing and maintaining visual communication strategies and materials. These range from branding solutions and systems to communications design, photography, and training.
I wear a number of hats, depending on what part of my work one looks at. I am, at core,  a brand creator, a graphic designer, and a photographer. But I've been an entrepreneur and a creative-business owner, for over 20 years. As such, at some point in time, I have worked as the Director of Communications, Branding, Finance, HR, Sourcing and Procurement, Marketing and Sales, Customer Service, Project Management et al, for a  mid-size creative business with 10-15 employees. As the agency's Lead Designer and Chief Photographer, I've also worked on projects with clients ranging from small mom and pop shops, to multi-generation family-run businesses, from schools to colleges, and from not-for-profit organisations to some of the largest multinational corporations in the world.
I have worked as a team of one, and as the leader of large, multidisciplinary teams, working on projects in the fields of branding, retail and interior graphics, signage, event management, and photography.
In short, I have extensive, broad-based experience in branding, visual communications and photography, from the perspectives of a creator, a user, a purchaser and a service provider.
I'm also an aspiring writer, currently mid-way through my first novel!
